After looking at many different properties we were led, almost miraculously, to a large piece of property in Santa Ana, Costa Rica—a community just "next door" to Escazu. The location left us both standing speechless with awe at its shear beauty and perfection. It is a stunning lot on the top of a hill, overlooking a small stream with a waterfall just below it. On the other side of the stream is a protected forest with gorgeous trees and other flora.

While the property is within minutes of the freeway, the surrounding vegetation creates a quiet wonderland with nothing but the gentle sounds of the stream to break the silence. After checking with our architect and engineers we decided that this would be the perfect location for our new plastic surgery retreat and purchased the property.

The plans for the main house have been designed specifically as a surgical patient recovery center. The ground floor has a kitchen, living room, dining room, office and 2 large luxury suites. The top floor has 9 large bedroom/bath combinations, a recreation room/kitchenette/dining room, a nurse's area, and a large patio. An elevator makes going to the upper level a breeze for recovering patients.

The bedrooms are all designed to promote both comfort and healing. There will be hospital beds, guest beds, refrigerators, TV/DVD combos, as well as all the other amenities one would expect in a luxury home. Everything currently offered in the "small" Casa De La Mariposa, will be offered at the new location, and many other amenities as well.

Once the main house is open and running, we plan to add another wing to the house with 16 more bedroom/bath combos. Once that is built, we will add 4 luxury bungalows with their own patios, kitchenettes, Jacuzzi tubs and anything else the architect can think of to make our plastic surgery recovery retreat unique and beautiful.

The property is surrounded by a large fence and we are planting bougainvilleas now so that they will be big and beautiful by the time the house is built. The swimming pool will have a waterfall Jacuzzi built onto the side with vast gardens, fountains, and paths with benches scattered throughout for the guests to sit quietly and just "enjoy" the peace and serenity. There will be a large generator to protect against power outages and large hot water tanks to make sure that hot water is always readily available.

Every amenity has been carefully planned and included. It is our dream to provide the absolute best plastic surgery retreat in Costa Rica!!
